Privacy Policy — High Rd. Staff App

This policy explains what information the High Rd. app collects, why, and how it's
looked after. This app is an internal staff tool for High Rd Store and Coleridge
Stores (operated by HRS Retail Rise Ltd) — it is not intended for use by the
general public.

Information we collect
From all staff using the app:
- First name (used to identify you within the till system)
- A 4-digit PIN (used only to confirm identity within the app — not linked to any external account)
- Clock in/out times
- Till reconciliation entries you submit (cash counted, sales figures)
- Temperature check readings you log
Additionally, for personnel records maintained by management:
- Full name, home address
- National Insurance number
- Emergency contact name and number
- Identity or right-to-work documents you or management upload
Why we collect it
- To record working hours accurately
- To maintain accountability for till cash handling
- To meet UK food hygiene record-keeping requirements
- To maintain employment records as required by UK employment and tax law
- To hold emergency contact details in case of a workplace incident
How it's stored
- Data is stored on our own servers, not shared with data brokers or advertisers.
- National Insurance numbers are encrypted before storage.
- Uploaded documents are stored outside any publicly browsable location and are only accessible to authorized administrators.
- Access to personnel records and documents is restricted to store management (Subakar Sivapillai and Thiyanamany Kemananthan).
Third parties we use
- OneSignal — delivers push notifications (e.g. clock-in alerts) to this app. OneSignal receives a device identifier for this purpose only.
- Apple — distributes this app via the App Store and provides crash/usage diagnostics per Apple's own policies.
We do not sell or share staff data with any other third party.
How long we keep it
- Clock, cashing, and temperature records are kept for as long as required for business and food-safety record-keeping purposes.
- Personnel records are kept for the duration of employment and for a period afterward as required by UK tax and employment law.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see what personal data we hold about you, ask us
to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligations to keep

Children
This app is for employees only and is not directed at children.
